The contract generally includes the following work items on Racine Road, Forbes Road, and Legion Road in the Town of Milton: 1) Supply and Install 155 Tons of Type II Bituminous Concrete Pavement, Base 2) Supply and Install 1,560 Tons of Type III Bituminous Concrete Pavement, Overlay 3) Supply and Install 710 Tons of Type IV Bituminous Concrete Pavement, Shim 4) Cold Plane 333 SY of Existing Pavement up to 2'' Thick 5) Provide Traffic Control Packages Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Town of Milton as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance, Labor, and Material Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. Acceptable form for a Bid Guaranty is either a bid bond or certified check. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. If awarded the Contract, the Contractor agrees to complete all work in its entirety, as shown in the Contract Plans, on or before August 30, 2022. The Contractor shall provide the Town of Milton with one payment request, for all work associated with the project, upon completion of the project in its entirety.
