This project consists of the renovation of the Foods Lab, Room 148, at Ridgewood High School. The scope of work generally includes the replacement of all cabinetry and appliances with alternates for floor and ceiling replacements. A copy of the bid instructions, bid forms and specifications Plans may NOT be picked up in person. The Ridgewood Board of Education hereby advertises for competitive bid pricing in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(a) (b). TITLE Ridgewood High School Foods Lab Renovation Project All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to Ridgewood Board of Education or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. Statement of Ownership Requirement: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, Bidders shall submit a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all persons and entities that own ten percent or more of its stock or interest of any type at all levels of ownership. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire / Certification also must be submitted with the bid. The bid package will also include other documents that must be completed and returned with the bid. Failure to comply with Instructions to Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms, may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities. The Ridgewood Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Board of Education.
