The project generally consists of rehabilitating deteriorated 8 and 10- inch sanitary sewer mains with a cured in place pipe (CIPP) liner and appurtenances for the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District in Commerce City, Adams County, Colorado. The project is located on several different streets in the same general area, generally bound by E. 69th Avenue on the north, Kearney Street to the west, E. 62nd Avenue on the south, and Olive Street on the east. The project consists of installing approximately 23,600 lineal feet of 8-inch CIPP, 2,200 lineal feet of 10-inch CIPP, removing and replacing approximately 20 sewer main cleanouts with new manholes, removing and replacing approximately 60 manhole ring and covers, completing 12 point repairs to the existing sewer main prior to CIPP lining, including 2 trenchless point repairs, and rehabilitation of 95 existing sewer manholes with a spray applied lining system. Bids will be received on a unit price basis. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. It is anticipated that the Contract Agreement will be signed and the Notice to Proceed will be issued in early May 2022. Construction shall be completed and ready for final payment within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. The Bid and Bid Security will remain subject to acceptance for 70 calendar days after the Bid opening, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional Bids.
