Project No. 2013.080 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Central Kitsap School District #401 at the Jenne-Wright Administration Building, Capital Projects Office located at 9210 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Washington, 98383: Central Kitsap Schools 2022 Reroofs Bid No. 005-22 A bid shall consist of one component. The Primary Component shall be submitted not later than 1:00 PM prevailing local time on March 31, 2022. Bids will be opened and publicly read after receipt of the Primary Component. Bids received by the Central Kitsap School District Capital Projects Office after the time listed above may not be considered. The Central Kitsap Schools Reroofs projects at PineCrest Elementary School (PI), Silver Ridge Elementary School (SR) are located at their respective schools. Due to long lead times, Central Kitsap School District is procuring the basic roofing materials. PI Reroofing will reroof the existing 57,855 SF elementary school built in 1998. Project to include demolition of the existing shingle roofing, single ply membrane, metal gutters and assorted flashings. A new ventilation system will be installed above the existing structurally insulated panels including ventilated fascia, roof to wall and ridge systems. Roof replacement will include asphalt composition shingles and SBS built up roofing assemblies, new gutters, downspout modifications, and perimeter flashings. Project also includes roof access and safety improvements. SR Reroofing will reroof the existing 49,531 SF elementary school built in 1990. Project to include demolition of existing membrane and metal standing seam roofing and abandon in place portions of existing built-in gutter systems. Roof replacement with new membrane roof throughout with new ridge and hip vent caps, new gutters, downspout modifications, and soffit repairs. Project also includes roof access and safety improvements. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is highly encouraged. The Pre-Bid Conference will begin at the front entrance of Silver Ridge Elementary School, 10622 Hillsboro Drive NW, Silverdale, WA 98383 at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2022, for the purpose of answering any questions bidders may have and to consider any suggestions they may wish to make. The tour will proceed to PineCrest Elementary School, 5530 Pine Road NE, Bremerton, WA 98311 at 4:00 PM. Any changes resulting from this conference will be made by Addendum following the conference. A VENTED NAILBASE ASSEMBLY WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE ASPHALT COMPOSITION ROOFING SYSTEM AND THE SINGLE PLY ROOFING AREAS WILL BE REPLACED WITH A SBS MODIFIED BITUMEN ROOFING SYSTEM.
