Project generally comprises, but not limited to removal of existing equipment past its service life, installation of new stand-by generator, equipment and implementation of monitoring system for remote operation of multiple stations; installation of new force main, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction operations. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/31/2022 12:00 PM Engineer's estimate is between $1 and $1.2 million. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid. The Ontelaunee Township Sewer Pump Station Modernization Project scope of work includes (but is not limited to) the following items: 1. Providing new monitoring equipment to allow for both tighter controls and remote operation of all Pump Stations, 2. Removal of Emergency Engines in Pump Stations 2, 4 and 7; 3. Installation of Stand-by Generators in Pump Stations 2, 4, 7 and 8; 4. Installation of interior and underground piping in Pump Stations 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8; 5. Installation of force main piping from Pump Station 7 (approximately 900 total); 6. Installation of confined space safety measures in existing control room setup for Pump Station 6; 7. Maintaining steady state (un-interrupted) sanitary flow throughout the project duration; 8. Temporary and permanent roadway paving as well as general restoration of the site and work zone.
