Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Elyria, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and upervision of labors necessary to complete the work. This project includes the reconstruction of the Pioneer Plaza Parking Lot located in downtown Elyria, Ohio on Second St just west of the Elyria Public Library (211 Second St.). Work includes the complete removal of the existing parking lot and installing new concrete curbs, asphalt pavement, storm water improvements, lighting improvements, concrete walks and other pertinent items; all as shown on construction plans and specifications prepared by KS & Associates and/or the Office of the Elyria City Engineer. BID SECURITY: The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the ORC and the Instructions to Bidders. PREVAILING WAGES: The contractor and any subcontractor must comply with the prevailing wage rate requirements on public improvements in Lorain County and the City of Elyria, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LAWS: All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that apply to the work.
