Site work and paving for a road / highway in Upper Milford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Approximately 91,412 sq. yds. of Double Application Bituminous Sealcoat #8 as Per PennDOT Pub. 408 section 480 in place. Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as Prime Contractor. Work to be done as directed by Upper Milford Township. Bid Submission: Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the municipality including a non-collusion affidavit. Bonding: The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10 % of the bid, made payable to the municipality. Bidders must clearly mark and identify bidding documents. Rejection of Bids: The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Construct a double application, as indicated, Bituminous Sealcoat in place per latest PennDOT specifications Publication 408 ( contractor shall complete design forms .). No. 8 a aggregate to washed. Doulbe Bituninous Seal coat as per Penndot Publication 447 MS-0340- 0005. Contractor shall be responsible for traffic control. Township to sweep street surface prior to initial Bituminous Sealcoat application. Contractor to coordinate work with Township. Design calculations to be submitted to Township for approval by successful bidder. ADT on roads are less that 500 per day.
