Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The Base Contract will generally include the full-width mill and overlay of 8 Township roadways (40,600 SY/3,700 TON). The Base Contract will also include 705 LF of concrete curb replacements, 6 EA Belgian block curb replacements, 6,614 SF concrete sidewalk replacements, 836 SF of concrete driveway apron replacements, 360 SF new concrete sidewalk, 180 LF concrete cheek wall, 256 SF truncated dome inserts, 150 SY roadway widening, 3,705 SY pavement repair, 220 GAL rubberized crack seal, 605 TON leveling/scratch course and the replacement of all pavement markings. Alternate/Add-On No. 1 will include the full-width mill and overlay of the portion of Red Oak Drive between Scarlett Oak Drive and Pin Oak Drive (4,500 SY/415 TON). The work will also include 310 LF concrete curb replacements, 2,596 SF concrete sidewalk replacements, 16 SF concrete driveway apron replacements, 144 SF truncated dome inserts, 100 LF concrete cheek wall, 300 SY pavement repair and 45 TON leveling/scratch course. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Township, or separate restrictive or escrow accounts with such lending institutions pursuant to an escrow agreement accepted and approved by the Township, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor. Proposals must be accompanied by an electronic copy of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the work detailed in Attachment 1, including all potential Alternate/Add-On items, made payable to Warrington Township.
