The work under this project includes construction of a new public 32-foot wide asphalt rural roadway with an approximate length of 1.6-miles and associated drainage facilities. The work entails clearing and grubbing, earthwork (excavation and embankment), installation of drainage culvert piping and reinforced concrete box storm drain, installation of aggregate base courses, placement of asphalt cement (AC) concrete, construction of rip rap lined ditches, construction of a new airport security fencing, roadway striping, and relocation of miscellaneous wet and dry utilities. The purpose of the Conference is to review and discuss the Bid Documents as well as the Drawings, specifications and the County's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Policy.
