In 2021, the City of Edmonton (the "City") issued Sourcing Event 939047 ("2021 Sourcing Event") in order to establish a number of long-term contractual relationships with service providers for General Structural Maintenance Services. As a result of the 2021 Sourcing Event, the City entered into three standing arrangement contracts. The 2021 Sourcing Event and the resulting contracts contemplated that the City may conduct competitive procurement processes to replace any expired or terminated contracts under the Standing Arrangement or to increase the number of contracts under the standing arrangement. The purpose of this Sourcing Event is to add contracts for general structural maintenance services to the existing three standing arrangement contracts. The City invites bidders to submit bids for this Sourcing Event for the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to provide general structural maintenance Services in City owned/leased buildings on an if, as, and when required basis. This includes but is not limited to additions, renovations, emergency repair, and retrofits to various City facilities. The Work to be performed by the successful bidder is outlined in the Requirements document attached to the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba platform.
