The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) requests bids that will provide services and materials for removing, cleaning, installing, and maintaining sewer meter installations for a 2-year period. The purpose of this task item is to continue the efforts of a Detroit system wide flow monitoring plan to refine calibration of the all-pipe sewer model of Detroit, provide data collection for condition assessments and sewer shares allocations. The selected locations align with the envisioned large-scale sewer-sheds as part of the model development using available permanent rainfall and sewer meter data. This data allows calibration of certain areas of the model, where major flows are not currently being monitored.
