Fire safety systems inspection and testing services are provided on a contractual basis to Charlton Campus, King Street Campus, and various ancillary properties. These services include scheduled preventative maintenance on a monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis to the sprinklers, fire extinguishers and fire alarm systems. Bidders are advised that other healthcare organizations within LHIN 3 and LHIN 4, interested municipalities, municipal organizations, conservation authorities, hospitals, academic institutions, schools and health and social services organizations (MASH sector) may participate in the resulting Contract under the same terms and conditions. As a result, bidders should consider while preparing their Bids that volume quantities may be significantly higher than the estimated quantities provided in this Request for Tender. In accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code, Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 (ODA) and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton will accommodate for a disability, ensuring full and equitable participation throughout the bid process. This Request for Tender is subject to the Canadian-European Union: Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (2017), Chapter 19; Canadian Free Trade Agreement (2017), Chapter 5; as well as the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (2016), Chapter 9.
