The Town of Williston is soliciting proposals for the mowing/brush hogging of various Stormwater Ponds located throughout the town. Work will include the mowing or brush hogging, and removal of any small trees that may have established themselves in areas where they are not required or wanted. Any tree removal will be at the direction of the Stormwater Coordinator for Williston. The degree of slope and area of the ponds varies from site to site. All vegetation to be mowed to no less than 3" and no higher than 5". Any debris that enter Forebays or ponds as a result of the cutting are to be removed by contractor. This work will be completed between July 1 and July 31, 2022 unless otherwise approved in writing. All proposals become the property of the Town of Williston. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, and to negotiate with any qualified source. This solicitation in no way obligates Williston to award a contract.
