SCOPE of PROJECT The objective is to resurface an existing basketball court to create one (1) Basketball Court that runs width wide and create a play space of Hopscotch, Foursquare, Chalk Drawing Squares and a circle path on the other half of the area. New square basketball backboards will be needed for the basketball court. Existing poles will be reused The contractor is to supply a quote for resurfacing entire are to create a basketball court on half and a play area on the other half. Quote needs to also include new square backboards with hoop for steel nets for exiting poles that will need to be moved and install in new location. INSTALL o The contractor will be responsible for resurfacing half the area to create a basketball court with new square backboards only. o The contractor will be responsible for relocating and installing existing poles for backboards for the new direction of the basketball court. o The contractor will be responsible for attaching new square backboards to the poles. o The contractor will be responsible for resurfacing half the area to create a play are of a circle path, Hopscotch, Foursquare and Chalk Drawing areas. o The contractor will be responsible for installing all specified equipment according to manufacturer's specifications. o The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, material, equipment, and services required for proper installation and completion of the work, whether each necessary item is mentioned or not. SITE CONDITIONS There is currently a surfaced area of 116' x 66'. It should be noted that there is water on-site, but no power utility. A site visit can be scheduled to go over design plan for a basketball court and play area. The Town anticipates issuing a letter of intent by June 17, 2022, to be followed as soon as possible by a contract. Work will be scheduled to begin after July 1, 2022 The contractor will provide and deliver to the job site all specified equipment. The contractor will also provide and deliver to the site all other required construction materials and supplies. The contractor will pay for all labor necessary to load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies.
