Site work and paving for a road / highway in Windsor, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be deleted and/or returned unopened. The Town is not responsible for bids that are delayed for technical reasons. The Work of this Contract consists of widening State Highway 392 from Colorado Boulevard (CR 13) to 17th Street, which includes but not limited to, installing 3,200 linear feet of 24" waterline, storm line installation, pedestrian island construction, roadway widening and paving (~6,600 tons of asphalt), and roadway striping as indicated in the drawings and specified herein. Bids shall be a combination of lump sum and unit prices per the Bid Form. Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a an acceptable Bid security in the form of a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond guaranteeing payment of all debts arising out of the Work. No Bid may be withdrawn for the period of time after the date Bids are opened which is specified in the Bid Form. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The decision of the Owner shall be final.
