The Vernon Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 & 2214. Lime Conditioning for Gravel or Asphalt Roads: Furnish labor, equipment, and material delivered to site to stabilize heavy clay with hydrated lime, depth and percentage to be determined by qualified laboratory on 12-22 wide Gravel or Asphalt Road base 5% over run. The top 8-12 inches deep of all roads must be reclaimed before placing Lime Conditioning from April 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. Widening of intersections and turnouts MUST be priced as part of the road.Must meet LA-DOTD specifications. No minimum tonnage required per job. Contractor to respond and perform within five (5) days of notice from the Vernon Parish Police Jury.
