The Port of Longview (Port) is soliciting qualifications from qualified consultants or consultant team (consultant) to assist in a feasibility study, conceptual design alternatives, thirty percent design, and range of magnitude cost to either relocate the Port's mechanic shop (Shop) temporarily into an existing building, relocate the Shop permanently into an existing building, or site a new Shop on Port property. Depending on the outcome of the feasibility study and the alternative the Port chooses additional engineering and permitting consulting services may be required. The Port, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to award subsequent phases of related services to the awarded consultant if needed. Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the solicitation documents or doubts as to the meaning shall be brought to the Port's attention by 5:00 p.m. on April 20, 2022. Questions, discrepancies, and clarifications received after this date may go unanswered. All questions, discrepancies, clarifications, etc. must be submitted electronically to: kmetzger@portoflongview.com. During the competitive solicitation process, respondents (and their agents) are prohibited from contacting any Port offices other than the Purchasing Division to obtain responses to any questions. The Port may find a respondent non-responsive for failing to adhere to any of the above requirements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
