Site work and paving for a road / highway in Longview, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project provides for the pavement striping, signage modifications and any other incidentals necessary to complete the specified work in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The City of Longview accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addendums and submit inadequate or incorrect responses. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 apply and demonstrating DBE compliance and utilization of at least 18% is a Condition of Award. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the Washington State or Federal Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates. Cash, cashier's check, certified check and/or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid price shall accompany all bids. The City Council reserves the right to: reject any and/or all bids; accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City; waive any informalities in the bidding; delay the award of the bid until a regular Council meeting.
