As of May 9, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project consists of: Installation of about 2,790 LF of new 6 thick PC Concrete sidewalks (5 wide) in various locations throughout the City of Hammond, along with sub-surface drainage associated with the sidewalk work; installation of about 8,160 LF of new storm drain pipes (8 30 diameter) and 151 EA drainage catch basins in several locations; and paving and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Budget: $1,485,000; Contract term: 300 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the Mayor, City of Hammond; 310 East Charles Street; Hammond, LA 70401. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund of $100.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
