Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 04/18/2022 3:00 PM (PDT) The City of Riverside's Public Utilities Department (hereinafter referred to as the City), is soliciting Bids (here in after "Bid") from qualified weed abatement contractors (hereinafter "Bidder") to provide the following complete weed abatement and trash removal services at various Public Utilities facilities. The work to be done, in general, shall include furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, unless otherwise specified, to maintain and complete the project in compliance with the Specifications and to the satisfaction of the Administrator. The project involves weed abatement and trash removal; including mowing, cleanup, debris and trash removal, and fence-line clearing, on approximately 48 Public Utilities Department sites located in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Work shall be performed as needed on a quarterly basis, up to four times a year as more particularly described in Part 3 of these Special Provisions. Other Details To be considered responsive to this RFB, Bidders must: Have registered as a "Prospective Bidder" on the City's electronic Current Prospective Bidders List. Once registered on PlanetBids, Companies must download this RFB by clicking "Place eBid" under their name in order to appear on the Bidder's List as a "Prospective Bidder." Companies that fail to specifically download this RFB will not appear on the Bidders' List and will be unable to participate or be considered for this RFB. Notes All requests for clarifications, changes, exceptions, deviations to the terms and conditions set forth in this RFB must be submitted via "Q&A" through the City's Electronic Bidding System, PlanetBids Vendor Portal. No verbal communications will be considered or responded to. The final day for the receipt of questions from the Bidder shall be before 3 pm on April 18, 2022. All questions received by the due date will be logged and reviewed and if required, a response will be provided via an addendum to the RFB that will be posted on the City's Active Bidder website. Any communications, whether written or verbal, with any City Council member, City Mayor, RPU Board member or City staff prior to award of a contract by the Board of Public Utilities, is strictly prohibited and the Bidder shall be disqualified from consideration.
