Renovation of a day care center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a five-story above grade day care center.
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Department of Labour, Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Structural Work as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3). CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for Exterior Refresh, Structural and Site Upgrade in a 5-storey building at 25 Furby St., Winnipeg, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to: selective demolition, parking lot surface repair for drainage improvement, sidewalk replacement, steps & ramp replacement, fencing replacement, lighting replacement, structural repairs (wall, balcony and railing), vestibule doors replacement complete with doors & accessibility hardware, excavation & backfilling in the perimeter of the building for regrading, weeping tile replacement, foundation parging/insulation repair, electrical work, painting and sodding. Work site location will be occupied during construction. Deadline for questions April 18, 2022. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
