Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lexington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The construction work will consist of the following: - Removal & replacement of approximately 1,200 LF curb & gutter and 19,00 SF asphalt pavement - Miscellaneous concrete flatwork and storm drainage improvements Each bid must be accompanied by Bid security in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount of the Bid. Security may be in the form of cash, a certified check made payable to County of Davidson, NC and drawn on a bank or trust company insured under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or a Bidder's Bond. Both Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon the payment in full to all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials for and in connection with the construction of the project. The Owner reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids and Proposals.
