Site work and paving for a civil project in Douglas, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes the upgrade of approximately 5,600 feet of 12-inch water main and 1,300 feet of 16-inch water main on the following streets: Gilboa Street, North Street and Lackey Dam Road. The material for this project has been pre-purchased by the Town and will be stored on Town property for the purposes of installation herein. The Town of Douglas has pre-purchased the water mains, valves, hydrants and other related fittings. This project consists of furnishing all tools, labor, and equipment to necessary for the removal and installation of various size water mains and appurtenances including gate valves, valve boxes, hydrants, services and temporary bypass piping, and for testing and chlorination. This project includes the transportation of the pre-purchased and stored materials to the project site for installation. The project also includes furnishing and installing the temporary bypass piping, backfill materials and trench pavements. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
