The City of Ketchikan Port and Harbors Department is soliciting quotes for janitorial cleaning services for the Berth III restrooms at 417 Water Street, the Berth IV restrooms at 105 Schoenbar Court and the Thomas Basin Promenade restroom at 320 Stedman Street. The period for these services will be from May 1 to October 7, 2022. The services required are detailed in Exhibit A. Quotes shall be provided on the page titled "Quote for Berth III, Berth IV and Thomas Basin Promenade Restrooms Janitorial Services Contract No. 22-09" provided in this request for quotes. Quotes for daily overnight cleaning shall state the cost per month for the period May 1 through October 7, 2022, and be based on performing these services every night there have been cruise ships at any of the berths (including Berths I and II) during that day. Use the attached draft 2022 cruise ship schedule for estimating the number of days the overnight cleaning will be required. Quotes for daily midday cleaning at Berths III and IV shall state the cost per day for the period May 1 through October 7, 2022, and be based on performing these services every day there are cruise ships at Berth III or Berth IV, respectively. Use the attached draft 2022 cruise ship schedule for estimating the number of days the midday cleaning will be required. Quotes for daily midday cleaning at the Thomas Basin Promenade restroom shall state the cost per month for the period May 1 through October 7, 2022, and be based on performing these services every night there were any cruise ships at any of the berths (including Berths I and II) during that day. Use the attached draft 2022 cruise ship schedule for estimating the number of days the midday cleaning will be required. Payments will be processed once a month based on the payment request provided in Exhibit C to the attached draft contract. Persons or businesses interested in submitting a quote are encouraged to contact Ms. Angel Holbrook at the Port and Harbors Department to arrange for an inspection of the interior of the facilities prior to submitting their quotes.
