Zerker Road Is a Two-lane Road That Runs Between Lerdo Highway and 7th Standard Road in a Rural Portion of the City of Shafter. This Project Will Remove the Existing Pavement, Shoulder, and Subgrade Materials and Replace It With Hot Mix Asphalt Over Aggregate Base. Project Is Federally Funded and Administered by Caltrans. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $725,000 to $800,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. DBE Goal Percentage: 18.9% Project Duration: 35 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 Per Calendar Day Bid Bond Percentage: 10, The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The City reserves the right to reject any Bid if an investigation of the information submitted does not satisfy the Engineer that the Bidder is qualified to properly carry out the terms of the contract.
