Site work and paving for a road / highway in Baden, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of June 02, 2022, project was awarded to Youngblood Paving Inc with an awarded amount of $602, 184.85.** 2022 Road Improvement Project - Work consists of milling existing asphalt, paving hot mix asphalt binder and wearing courses, inlet adjustment, base repair, new asphalt wedge curbs, other related appurtenances, and miscellaneous work on various roads totaling approximately 10,700 feet in length Call ahead to ensure the documents are ready. Proposals must be submitted on the original forms furnished by the Borough. Each Bidder must submit a bid bond or cashier's check as bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to Economy Borough. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of opening. All Bidders must have PennDOT Prequalification Certificates for the work classifications contemplated by this project. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, and an 18-month Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount will be required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates Will Apply. Economy Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities, and to alter the scope of work. Ifthe work is not completed within the allotted time, liquidated damages may be assessed to the Contractor at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day.
