Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Buena Vista, Colorado. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of June 13, 2022. The Project will rebid by September or October.** END OF GENERAL DECISION NO. CO20220012 Arizona Street and Marquette Avenue Improvements: The nature of construction for the project consists of the removal of existing roadway surfaces, removal of existing vegetation, removal of curb and gutter, removal of sidewalk, removal of existing striping, and excavation/fill for a varying width urban roadway. Retaining walls will be constructed, a headwall and wingwall structure will be constructed, and a pedestrian bridge will be constructed to cross Cottonwood Creek. Pavement widening will be constructed to accommodate proposed bike lanes. The roadway will be re-striped and signage and striping will be implemented to incorporate bike lane traffic.
