The City of Ketchikan Port and Harbors Department is soliciting quotes for janitorial cleaning services for the period May 1 to Dec 31, 2022, for the Harbormaster Building located at 2933 Tongass Avenue. The following schedule of services is required: Once a week cleaning of the upstairs offices, office areas, break room, hallways, lobby and "interior" restrooms including: Vacuuming all carpeted areas including stairs. Vacuuming all floor mats. Damp mopping all vinyl flooring. Dusting all horizontal surfaces. Emptying all waste receptacles into owner provided dumpster. Cleaning all plumbing fixtures. Disinfecting toilets. Refilling all dispensers. Twice a week cleaning of the "exterior" restrooms on the first floor including: Mopping or scrubbing tiled floors. Removing rubber shower mats from shower stalls, clean and disinfect both sides of the shower mats, and clean the shower stall floor underneath the mats. Cleaning all plumbing fixtures. Disinfecting urinals, toilets, and showers. Damp wiping all dispensers, tiled and painted portions of toilet room walls, and stall dividers. Cleaning all mirrors. Emptying all waste receptacles into owner provided dumpster. Refilling all dispensers. Annually: Buffering of entry way and hall way. The Port and Harbors Department will provide all paper products for dispensers and liners for waste receptacles. The weekly cleaning of the upstairs offices, office areas, break room, hallways and "interior" restrooms shall be performed May 1 to Dec 31, 2022, after hours on weekends between 5:00 pm Friday and 8:00 am Monday. The twice a week cleaning of the "exterior" restrooms on the first floor shall also be performed after hours; however, the hours will differ between the summer and winter seasons as follows: May through September: Cleaning shall be performed between 10:00 pm Sunday and 6:00 am Monday and 10:00 pm Wednesday and 6:00 am Thursday. October through December: Cleaning shall be performed between 5:00 pm Sunday and 8:00 am Monday and 5:00 pm Wednesday and 8:00 am Thursday. Quotes should state the cost for performing all of the above janitorial services on a monthly basis. Payments will be processed on a monthly basis upon receipt of invoices for services rendered.
