Well Maintenance and Repairs Indio Water Authority was formed as a Joint Powers Authority in 2000 to deliver water to the City of Indio. Its mission is to provide the City's residents, visitors and businesses with safe and reliable water, while ensuring the long-term viability of the City's water services for its users. The Indio Water Authority's service area includes approximately 38 square miles and supplied approximately 6 billion gallons (20,000 acre-feet) of water to approximately 90,000 businesses and residents. Deadline for Written Questions Regarding RFP April 25 Responses to Written Questions Regarding RFP May 02 Start Date August 01 Any questions as to the meaning of the scope of work and/or technical specifications or other pre-proposal documents must be submitted in writing and shall be directed to Francine Archuleta, Administrative Coordinator, at farchuleta@indio.org. The contract will be awarded for a 3 year period. Pricing shall remain firm-fixed for the first year of the Contract. One (1) price adjustment will be considered each year, on the anniversary date of the Contract The IWA may discuss or negotiate with one or more firms prior to award and reserves the right to reject any proposal.
