Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Millsboro, Delaware. Design plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of May 6, 2024, the project is in design. A civil engineer has been selected. The project is anticipated to be advertised to bid prior to the end of 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town is soliciting bids from qualified engineering firms for design, bid, and construction phase services (including full time construction inspection) for a new wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) to be located on its White Farm property. The new WWTF will be designed for an annual average daily flow (AADF) of 1.7 million gallons per day (MGD). All questions must be submitted in writing to Ms. Kruger at the e-mail address provided. Written questions and responses will be provided in addenda to this RFP. Questions must be submitted no later than April 25, 2022. The Town will not respond to any question submitted past April 25, 2022. Bidders are responsible for obtaining the full Request for Proposals on the Towns website at the following link. Invitation to Bid / Request for Proposal - The Town of Millsboro Delaware No mandatory pre-bid meeting. The Town of Millsboro reserves the right to negotiate with the selected firm or reject all proposals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
