Site work and addition to a clubhouse / community center in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Working plans call for the addition of a 10,000-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
The key Project objectives are to provide the community with: A new squash building that has 6 squash courts as well as associated amenity areas; an efficient building layout and design to provide best possible service to the community; an energy efficient and environmentally friendly building with an emphasis on energy conservation; safe, organized, efficient spaces promoting user well-being and effectiveness. The City proposes to construct a new addition of approximately 10,000 square feet over two floors to accommodate the need for 6 squash courts and associated amenities to serve the growing community. TIMELINE: Project is temporarily on hold. Tender is cancelled as bids came in over budget. Project may be updated when a re-tender is released. Further update may be available in fall 2025, upon approvals.
