Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Joseph, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: The Work for this Contract includes, but is not limited to, improvements to the existing headworks, including demolition of the existing mechanical screen and installation of a new mechanical screen; removal of the existing treatment lagoon floating aerators and installation of a fine bubble diffuser aeration system; construction of a nitrification system to treat ammonia; upgrades to the disinfection system; construction of a dechlorination system; construction of a new process building to house the aeration and nitrification system blower, disinfection and dechlorination chemical feed systems, and electrical and controls; improvements to the irrigation pump station and irrigation center pivot; together with all other Work required to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and specified. The Contractor will be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act (40USC276a) and the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870 (the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law). This Project is being funded in part through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and the City of Joseph. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
