The estimated quantity is approximately four thousand (4,000) tons. The tenderer prepares a single tender by complying with the requirements of the tender documents which may be obtained from Thursday, April 14, 2022, by contacting the Electronic Tendering Service . A price must be indicated for each type of stone mentioned in the tender form available in Appendix 2 of the tender documents. The Municipality reserves the right to purchase all or part of the tonnage of crushed stone and does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and incurs no obligation towards the tenderer(s). The Municipality assumes no liability towards the tenderer because of the filing of his tender. The Municipality is not required to retain a compliant tenderer whose tender indicates a higher price than the market price or the cost estimate. The bidder must demonstrate that he has all the operating permits required by the various levels of government. The tenderer must specify the address of the place where the crushed stone can be picked up. The selection of the lowest bidder will be made by adding the cost of transportation to the price requested by the bidder. This cost will be calculated using the list of bulk transport rates from the Ministère des Transports du Québec in 2022.
