A. Organize the Submission to clearly and succinctly present the required information. Use the main headings and present the information in the order provided in Section 4 - Submission Evaluation Form. B. The Province will receive Submissions in electronic PDF file format, which is searchable and unprotected, only through e-mail as identified no later than the RFQ Closing Date and Time as indicated on the cover of the RFQ. C. Forward the Submission by e-mail to the RFQ Submission Contact's 'E-mail Address' identified at the cover of the RFQ. Submissions received after the RFQ Closing Date and Time will be rejected. D. For receipt of a Submission, the official time of receipt shall be as determined by the Government of Alberta e-mail system time. E. A Respondent must not submit more than one Submission. F. When sending a Submission via e-mail, the Respondent is responsible for ensuring that its Submission is received before the RFQ Closing Date and Time at the e-mail address specified on the cover of the RFQ. The Province assumes no responsibility for server availability or any other technical problem that prevents the Submission from being received by the RFQ Closing Date and Time. G. Submit the Submission as one PDF document through e-mail with file size not exceeding 10 MB. Submit using the following document title format: CLICD Consultant Service RFQ Proposal by "Firm Name" H. The RFQ Submission should be limited to 20 single-sided, 8 1/2 " x 11" pages or equivalent (e.g. 11" x 17" fold out sheets for charts, schedules, etc. count as 2 pages): .1 The page limit excludes a cover letter, table of contents, individual's resumes, the project experience summaries, the consultant discipline and location services form, the pricing form or the required proofs of insurance, WCB coverage and safety certification. Respondents may include additional information which they consider relevant, but the maximum number of pages should not be exceeded. Respondents should use an easy to read font type and size, such as 11 point Arial/Calibri or 12 point Times-Roman. AEP has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to seek consulting firms interested in being placed on a shortlist of Pre-Qualified Consultants. These shortlisted Pre-Qualified Consultants will be used to invite proposals for planned capital projects identified within Crown Land Infrastructure Capital Development (CLICD) Program on Alberta Parks, Public Lands and Other Areas during the two-year term between June 1, 2022 and March 31, 2024. Consulting firms placed on the CLICD - Consulting Services Pre-Qualified List (PQL) will be required to provide the expertise of specialists in the areas as identified in section Consulting Services, Disciplines and Locations Form (see Appendix G) and as described in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions set out in this RFQ. The Purpose of this RFQ is to solicit Proposals from consulting firms interested in becoming shortlisted Pre-Qualified contracting candidates who may be invited to bid on projects requiring these services for the specified two-year term. If the PQL format and consultant services are working well and acceptable to CIDI, there will be an option to extend the agreement for one additional year, with a maximum of two extensions. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
