Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed prior to August 19, 2022. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: 1 1/2" full width milling, base paving reconstruction (milling/ excavation & bituminous binder course), bituminous overlay, incidental milling and sealing. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. All materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PADOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. Bidders must be either a PennDOT Pre-qualified Prime or PennDOT Prequalified Sub-Contractor for Work Class F. Borough Council will meet on April 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. to accept bids, refer to committee, award or reject bids. The Borough of Nesquehoning reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Borough.
