The City of South Padre Island is accepting bids for the trimming and disposal of fronds from 2000 palm trees located on the street right-of-ways, parks, entrance medians and medians on Padre Blvd. The contractor shall trim the tree leaves between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock ratio (180 degrees). All work activities shall include all normal steps and be performed and finished in a professional manner to ensure a quality finished product. The City will provide open rolloff dumpsters and fertilizer to be applied on each tree. The contractor will be responsible to transport palm tree trimmings to roll off dumpsters daily. The contractor will meet with City staff to identify the trees and provide a schedule before trimming trees. Contractor will be responsible for keeping a daily count of trees trimmed.
