Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority ("Owner") is requesting separate sealed proposals for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services for the Air Cargo South Access Road Extension (the "Project") at Huntsville International Airport, located in Huntsville, Alabama. The Project will consist of the milling and repaving of the existing Air Cargo Road and the extension of the same road for approximately 1500 ft. to an intersection with Wall Triana Highway. The work will include grading, drainage, paving, striping, signage, revegetating disturbed areas, etc. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total contract amount, as shown on the proposal form, which shall be made payable to OWNER and shall be subject to the conditions set forth in the bid documents. A performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a labor and material payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. Bidder must be an Alabama General Contractor licensed by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors for Alabama pursuant to Alabama Code Section 34-8-1, et seq. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, technicalities or irregularities in the bids received, to reject any or all bids, and to enter into negotiations with the lowest responsive bidder.
