Site work for a civil project in Layton, Utah. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information This project includes construction of a new delivery conduit composed of a 48-inch welded steel pipe encased in reinforced concrete that will be installed about 1280 ft northwest from the existing siphon. Approximately 340 feet of 48-inch steel pipe will be installed through the dam which connects to a 20-foot section of 36-inch HDPE pipe with a blind flange at the end. An intake structure which includes a hydraulically operated slide gate will be constructed at the upstream end of the conduit, connected to a control house on the crest of the dam. A temporary cofferdam, which includes installation of vinyl sheet piles, will be constructed around the construction area of the new delivery conduit and intake structure so that the work can be performed in the dry. The Contractor will perform the dewatering and unwatering within the cofferdam area to allow construction in the dry as designed by the Engineer and shown in the contract documents. The reservoir will be maintained at or below elevation 4216 by the District during construction. The cofferdam will be removed at the end of construction after the dam has been rebuilt to elevation 4237, but the majority of the vinyl sheet piles will remain in place. *Bid has been Cancelled *
