As of October 17, 2023, this project has bid for a general contractor and has been awarded. General contractor firm information and a firm timeline for start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Weber Basin Water Conservancy District (WBWCD) intends to award a contract for engineering design work for the UDOT 5600 S WBWCD Pipeline Relocates Project. The purpose of this contract will be for the chosen firm to provide engineering design services, engineering services during construction, construction observation services, and programming and integration services for WBWCD pipeline relocates associated with Utah Department of Transportation improvements of I-15, 5600 S and Freeway Park Drive. It is in the best interest of the District to award the contract to a firm with experience dealing with large steel, shot coat and ductile iron pipelines, and with experience working with UDOT's Progressive Design Build projects; as the design engineers for the proposed WBWCD pipeline relocates.
