Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
The work on this project will include but is not limited to the reconstruction of approximately 18,500 SY of roadway (Terminal Drive) restoration and repair of 28 storm water inlets, 2 new inlets, 80 LF 18" HDPE pipe, 500 LF pavement base drain, 350 SY of concrete sidewalk/HC Curb Ramp replacement, 916 LF concrete curb replacement, embankment stabilization, 80 LF guiderail replacement, upgrades and associated pavement markings and miscellaneous work within the project limits. All requests for documents will require the following information to be submitted with the request: The requester's name, company name, contact name, address, telephone number and email address. Paper copies are also available at the offices of KBA Engineering, p.c. Make checks payable to: KBA Engineering, p.c. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid The surety shall name as payee or obligee the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor will be required to be signed and notarized prior to the award of any contract. A no-lien agreement will be required to be signed and filed by the contractor before any work begins on the project. Notice is hereby given that the project for which construction proposals are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to Davis Bacon Wage Rates. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omission informalities relative thereto
