Site work and new construction of a civil project in Girard, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of the construction of a glass fused to steel potable water storage tank with a capacity of 148,000 gallons, more or less, and the installation of ductile iron pipe water line, valves, hydrant assemblies and other appurtenant and restoration activities. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
