The City of Dickinson, Texas, is requesting qualification submissions from professional consulting firms to assist with a consolidation and comprehensive update of its development ordinances, including Chapter 14, Planning and Development; Chapter 15.1, Signs; Chapter 16.10, Tree Preservation and Landscaping; Chapter 18, Zoning; Appendix A, Subdivisions; and applicable portions of Chapter 9, Manufactured Homes. Questions concerning this project must be submitted via e-mail to Theo Melancon, City Manager (tmelancon@dickinsontexas.gov) by 5:00 P.M. CDT on Friday, May 6. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals and may award one or more contracts to one or more service provider(s). Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
