For interior painting of the 1st and 2nd floor at the Dougherty County Police Department located at 2106 Habersham Road in Albany, Georgia, in accordance with bid documents, specifications, and all other contract documents. The scope of work for this project is contained in the attached bid documents. The deadline for questions is May 24, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. All interested bidders must attend, as this will be the only opportunity to view the worksite with the Project Manager and Procurement Staff. All Attendees are encouraged to wear a Mask and Practice Social Distancing. This project will be bid on a lump sum basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) in the manner that best benefits the Dougherty County Board of Commissioners. 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Albany and Dougherty County strongly encourage Small Business firms to participate in this bid. Scope of Services: The complete interior painting of the DOCO Police Department located at 2106 Habersham Roadper the attached Scope of Work. The square footage is approximately 15,000 sq. ft. This project will be to paint theinterior of the 1st and 2 nd floors, all restrooms, offices, hallways, break rooms, conference rooms, common areas,exam rooms and all trim. Not completing contract within the time specified may hamper the contractors ability to secure future contracts with the City.
