Written questions must be submitted no later than close of business on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. All requests must be made in writing to tom.meyer@seattle.gov. The Contract value is Not to Exceed $2,000,000.00 plus Washington State Sale Tax (W.S.S.T), per year. Work under this Contract entails remediation of City Light properties that have been characterized to have contaminants present at concentrations exceeding regulatory thresholds. Typical contaminants include pesticides, metals, hydrocarbons and PCBs. The bulk of the required remediation work includes excavation and transportation of contaminated soils or materials. Some locations may require soil removal via air knife/ vactor methods for preservation of large vegetation and trees or adjacent structures/facilities. Other work will include site preparation, erosion and stormwater control, traffic control, hauling and disposal, backfill and site restoration. For purposes of the Inclusion Plan, this is considered an Natural Habitat Restoration type of project with a Past Performance of 16% WMBE utilization rates based on completed projects.
