PURPOSE: The intent and purpose of this Invitation For Sealed Bid is to issue a purchase order to one qualified source that can provide four (4) blast chillers for Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. D2 at Dietrick Dining Center is a state of the art facility that combines all your care to eat dining with a variety of an Internatioanal Market place. Southgate Food Center includes a central support Bake Shop, Vegetable Prep and to go items for all the Dining Centers on campus. Dietrick Hall is in need of two (2) Amercian Panel Blast Chillers, Model # AP46BCF-1T with remote air cooled condensing units Model # WS3000M6*AP. Southgate is in need of two (2) American Panel Blast Chillers Model # AP46BCF-3T with pass-thru operations and remote water cooled condensing units Model # BLV120BM6*AP Due to the importance of all Bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of the work and requirements for this solicitation, attendance at this conference will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those Bidders who are represented at this bid conference. Attendance at the conference will be evidenced by the signatures on the attendance roster. If a representative appears on your behalf, the representative must provide a signature and also identify the name of the Bidder. Bring a copy of this solicitation with you. Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to this solicitation. No one will be admitted after 10:10am. It is strongly recommended that you obtain a Virginia Tech parking permit for display on your vehicle prior to attending the conference.
