This project will request qualifications from engineering firms capable of conducting a Type, Size & Location (TS&L) Study to evaluate impacts associated with the replacement of the Chambers Creek Bridge No. 29202-A located between the City of University Place and the Town of Steilacoom.Clarification Deadline: 5/18/2022 4:00 PM.The initial Professional Service Agreement period is anticipated to be from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, unless sooner terminated as provided elsewhere in the Agreement. This PSA will be renewable as needed to complete project duties. This project will request qualifications from engineering firms capable of conducting a Type, Size & Location (TS&L) Study to evaluate impacts associated with the replacement of the Chambers Creek Bridge No. 29202- A located between the City of University Place and the Town of Steilacoom. The selected firm will prepare a TS&L Study that will identify and assess crossing alternatives that increase room for the floodplain processes of Chambers Creek and accommodate the restoration impacts connected to the removal of Chambers Creek Dam downstream of the existing bridge. The Study will outline all structural and non-structural impacts that will result from the existing bridge removal and replacement. CONTRACT TYPE Professional Services Agreement BID TYPE Request for Qualifications All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County ProcureWare software, under the Clarifications Tab not later than seven days prior to the solicitation due date. Firms must be registered in the ProcureWare software in order to submit questions.Anticipated Maximum Value of this Contract is $480,000. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
