The purpose of this bid is to secure the services of a licensed contractor to perform tree removal work consisting of removing trees and/or stumps that are dead, diseased, and/or trees of concern. All Pierce County Departments may access these services. Clarification Deadline: 5/18/2022 4:00 PM Pierce County is unable to determine the precise schedule or amount of work that may be performed. The work will be assigned by Pierce County by work order number, addressing scope of work, budget and required time of completion. Locations will vary but be within the boundaries of Pierce County. Services west of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and/or on Anderson Island will be allowed an extra service fee, see Bid Item #24. Tolls and Ferry Passage Fees will be reimbursed at cost. LOCATION: Due to the nature of this work and the need for emergency response, bidders shop must be located within 15 miles of Pierce County. Pierce County reserves to right to award this work to one or more vendors. If more than one vendor is selected, a primary vendor will be identified and used unless they are unable to respond within the specified time in these bid documents.
