Site work for a water / sewer project in Auburn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Online bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost except to the successful bidder at PennBid. Bidders assume responsibility that their Bid is received prior to the designated bid opening time and date. The Project consists of furnishing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment required for the removal, hauling, and disposal of grit, and pressure washing and cleaning of the steel Equalization (EQ) Tank(s) at the Plum Creek Municipal Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Bid opening. There will be no pre-bid conference. Bidders wishing to visit the Site may schedule inspections as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Addenda, if any, will be issued through the PennBid Program. Prevailing wages do not apply, as this is a maintenance Contract. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The Plum Creek Municipal Authority, Owner, reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal contract awards.
