Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Auburn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The project consists of the following Contracts: Contract a - General Site/concrete Flatwork Contract B - Pre-cast Concrete Wall Panels Contract C - Hvac Materials Supply and Delivery Procurement Bid Consisting of: Contract D -Lumber, Exterior Finishes, Doors Amd Windows Contract E - Electrical Materials Contract F - Interior Finishes Materials No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above-specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of bids, except as specifically may be provided by law. The Work covered by these Specifications is in South Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The overall intent of the Work to be performed under this Contract is to provide the necessary materials, equipment, and labor to furnish and erect in place a new File room Addition for the Municipal Building and all associated site improvements for the South Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Construction of an addition 16 feet wide by 33 feet long. (Exterior dimensions) Attached to the East sidewall of the building. Frost wall 4 feet tall to be placed on a stone base (Pre-fab concrete wall system). Wall Structure to be above grade Pre-Fab concrete pre insulated walls systems 9' tall. One exterior door to be placed on North wall of the addition. Three picture windows to be placed along top of East wall of the addition. There will not be any openings on the South Wall; Pre-Fab walls are engineered by the Pre-Fab Company to accommodate loading and code regulations for area. Engineer sealed drawings are required with bid. Concrete floor to be poured 5" thick with vapor barrier below pad. Concrete to be 4000 PSI concrete. Floor to be poured according to Pre-Fab wall Specs on Floor connection and placement. Engineered trusses to be placed from existing block wall to East wall mono -pitch trusses placed 4' on center (Meeting dead load and snow load for our area) 2x4 purlins to be placed across trusses 2' on center. Painted steel roofing to be fastened according to manufacturer specs and flashed as needed. Roof structure to extend six feet on north side to create a porch area along north side of addition. Wiring to be completed to code spec with MC wire. Interior of walls to be 5/8" fire check drywall. Drop ceiling to be installed for a ceiling (FIREPROOF 2X2 PANEL Bidders shall review all plans and specifications to determine the Scope of Work required for their individual contracts. The Contractor shall bid on all items listed in the Bid Form for each Contract for which he/she submits a Bid, unless specifically noted otherwise. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, South Manheim Township, Schuylkill County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to the Township. All Contracts exceeding $10,000.00 shall be performed in compliance with Executive Order 11246, entitled, "Equal Employment Opportunity," as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). In addition, all Contractors shall comply with the "Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause" as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05. Wages paid are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 as amended and supplemented. The Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955, P.L. 744, No. 222, as amended June 25,1997 by Act 34 of 1997, 43 P.S. 951-963, shall apply to Contracts A, B and C.
