The City of Prince Rupert is seeking quotations from qualified proponents in response to this request for Quotation for the provision of Services to be carried out within the required schedule set out herein for the resurfacing of the tennis courts located at 2nd Avenue and McBride Street and the Basketball court located on McBride Street. Both Courts are in need of a resurfacing, paint, lines, Nets and posts. The Basketball Court, located on McBride Street, is need of a resurfacing, line paint as well as new backboards and nets. The City is looking to conduct this work as soon as possible (weather window permitting). The services will comprise the following scope of work for the Project including, without limiting: (i) Supply labor, equipment and materials for the works (ii) Resurface McBride Street Tennis courts fully. Supply and install new lines, including 1(one) court with additional Pickle Ball lines, New two (2) nets and four (4) posts for both courts, and two (2) new aluminum benches on each side (1,300 sq.m) (iii) Resurface McBride Street Basketball courts fully. Supply and install two (2) new backboards, rims and netting (600 sq.m) (iv) Repair and refresh of 2nd avenue tennis 2(two) courts. Resurfacing was done 10 years ago and is starting to show signs of wear. Patch and seal all cracks and repaint surfaces with new lines (1,000 sq.m). Replace four (4) posts and two (2) nets. Install two (2) new aluminum benches (v) City staff will assist in preparation of the courts and any other labor work needed to conduct the works (vi) City staff (up to 2 laborers) can be utilized to assist in the application and various other tasks during the period the contractor is in town (vii) Colour to be Blue inside of Tennis courts, Green outside. Basketball courts to be painted all Blue, with Green center and under the basket "Key" (viii) Follow all safety rules and regulations (ix) Be Cautious of the weather.
